Comfortable, warm courtyard cottage in isolated glen 14 miles south of Oban, Argyll.
Lochavich has nine houses scattered along its eight mile length – hardly overcrowded! The scenery is a complete mixture of moor & loch, of hills, forest and ancient oakwoods, of sky and long-distance views.
Garden Cottage was converted from the old byre for Highland cattle - it now sleeps two + cot if required.
Farmhouse style kitchen/living room with everything you need.
Bedroom with double/twin beds & duvets/blankets & linen. Ensuite bathroom.
No TV or mobile phone reception – just absolute peace & quiet.
Laundry room with automatic washing machine & tumble drier.
Own lawn & south facing terrace with 3 acres of woodland garden on the cottage doorstep.
Ideal base for exploring Argyll & the Isles.
Fishing, birdwatching, walking, cycling, golf, watersports, riding, islands, castles, cruises and several Great Gardens of Argyll are all nearby.
Sorry, no pets as sheep & cattle graze close to the cottage.
